Kizano Corp. Forms Joint Venture with Protrans Inc.
Kizano is pleased to announce that we have entered into a Joint Venture with Professional Translators and Transcribers, Inc., dba Protrans, Inc. to further expand our capabilities to our clients. Protrans is an industry leader in providing language translation, transcription and monitoring services.
Protrans has served an impressive list of clients to include the Department of Justice (FBI, DEA, and ATF), Department of Homeland Security (ICE), Bank of America, Disneyland, Venezuelan Olympic Softball Team 2008, and The United Way to name a few.
Kizano is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). We are very pleased to be partnering with a company with the strength, excellent record of past performance and broad list of technical skills represented by Protrans, Inc. Examples of their work includes:
Protrans’s professional staff has native language skills in all modern languages. They have translated documents ranging from legal and medical records to employee handbooks and visitors brochures. To meet the needs of a diverse clientele, Protrans works with a variety of media including paper documents, audio files and multi-language websites.
Protrans provides medical and legal transcription services in both English and Spanish. Court hearings, business meetings, and medical reports recorded in any modern language can be easily and accurately transcribed into English or Spanish.
Protrans has been the service provider of choice for law enforcement agencies to assist in monitoring phone taps with foreign language speakers. Protrans’ staff members have been certified by federal and local law enforcement agencies to participate in sensitive evidence gathering procedures leading to criminal convictions.
Founded in 1972 by CEO, Elena Rojas, Protrans has an established reputation as a leader in business and pioneer in the areas of monitoring, transcription, interpretingand translation. Mrs. Rojas has been featured on such television programs as KTLA’s (Channel 5) Making It, and has been included multiple times in the publication, Hispanic Business.
Ms. Rojas is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Spanish (emphasis in Linguistics), a BA in Latin American Studies (minor in Portuguese), an MA in Spanish (concentration in Linguistics), and a certificate in Legal Interpretation and Translation from California State University, Los Angeles. She has traveled, lived and taught English in Spain and taught English for Special Purposes for five years at the University Of Carabobo School Of Medicine in Venezuela.
